We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to join our Southshore Health & Rehabilitation Center team!

Competitive Pay and Bonus Potential!

Salary – $40 - $44/hr based on skills, license and years of experience

Bonuses available-

·Referral Bonus: RN $3000, LPN $2000, CNA $1000, Other $750

Shifts Available: Days - 8 hour shifts - FT position

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Professional Nurse's license in the state of employment.

2. Must have working knowledge of general and geriatric nursing.

3. Must be qualified to assume the position by training and /or previous experience of a supervisory status, preferably in a health care facility.

4. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and mature judgments.

5. Must have the ability and the willingness to supervise and work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.

6. Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.

7. Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties.

8. Excellence in all aspects of quality nursing including exceptional and sub-acute care.

9. Good managerial, organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.

10. Leadership qualities that motivate and direct the nursing staff.

11. Be personable with residents, families, and staff in a professional and cooperative manner.

12. Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the elderly.

13. Thorough knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, MDPH, and MDPA regulations.
