1. Ensures that residents are treated with dignity, kindness, and respect; maintains residents’ privacy and confidentiality and always adheres to resident’s bill of rights.

2. Organizes and develops effective networking and professional sources for referrals.

3. Builds successful external referral network through coordinating events and seminars on and off property to attract new professional sources and visiting local businesses and communities for presentations.

4. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with other healthcare facilities, including fellow assisted livings, rehabilitation centers, medical centers, adult daycare, and small group homes.

5. Conducts assessments, when necessary, to ensure suitability for assisted living and determine level of care needed.

6. Attends appropriate local networking functions outside of the community.

7. Maintains a working knowledge of the local market trends and competitors to assist in development of sales and marketing strategies and action plans.

8. Interacts with others by developing and maintaining rapport and demonstrating interpersonal sensitivity towards others.

9. Reinforces the community's brand reputation and achieves budgeted occupancy goals.

10. Possesses and maintains a strong knowledge of the community, its benefits, and the services provided.

11. Sets, tracks, and accomplishes goals on a timely basis for completed calls, mailings, leads generated, appointments set, presentations, and closings as outlined within quarterly marketing plan.

12. Establishes a daily schedule that supports the demands of the community events calendar, telephone callouts, scheduled presentations, group presentations and follow-up visits.

13. Maintains complete and current records of leads and contacts.

14. Participates in required sales meetings and conference calls.

15. Consistently communicates schedules, events, and leads with appropriate departments.

16. Visits at least one physician weekly; visits other local businesses such as Alzheimer’s Association, rehabilitations, 55 communities, social workers for the hospitals, VA hospitals, fellow assisted living facilities, etc.
