The primary role of the repair technician is to perform repairs on medical instrumentation. Technicians will be trained to become familiar with various types of surgical instruments and understand how to best maintain and repair them. Repairs are completed either on a mobile laboratory, on-site in the hospital or at company repair center. All repairs completed to the highest quality standards and in a timely manner. In addition to repair work, Technicians may work with a team including Sales Representatives and CIRCs (Certified Instrument Repair Consultants) to identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities. Daily travel to various customer sites may be required as well as occasional over night travel. Travel requirements may vary by repair location.This position will require approximately 60% travel; 3 weeks in field working and 1 week in local area/lab.
