Job Description
Job Title: Infant Teacher
Reports To: Owner
Benefits: Employee receives 120 hours of paid time off, all holidays and snow days are paid. Employee is eligible for health insurance and dental insurance (Employer pays 100% of the premium), paid trainings and employee discount.
Summary: Responsible for the coordination of infant classroom schedules and curriculum by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Applies knowledge of sound early childhood education, development concepts, and principles within the goals and philosophy of the school.
2. Monitors and observes the daily operations of the infant classroom for safety, positive interaction, and productive education of activity.
3. Reviews and approves lesson plans on a weekly basis.
4. Communicates with parents/guardians regarding their attending child and reports all communication to the owner.
5. Maintains a happy, nurturing, and relaxed atmosphere in the toddler room while meeting their daily needs.
Qualifications:

Certificates and Licenses: (Stepping Stones will provide the training)
● 30 hours of annual training in a related position as required by the state of Maine
● CPR certification
● First aid certification
