Child Care Provider Education: HS/GED equivalent Shift: Monday-Friday Morning and afternoon shifts available. We offer flexible scheduling to accomodate school schedules.

Age: 18 years or older

• Duties and responsibilities: A teacher is responsible for creating and implementing a program of activities that promotes the social, emotional and physical development of children.
• Participate in staff meetings, center activities and staff development Review the progress of each child and develop written plans to promote child’s growth and development; conduct parent/teacher conferences.
• Maintain a well-organized, safe and attractive classroom environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children.
• Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote their development Plan and implement the daily program of activities based on principles of child development and in accordance with the program’s curriculum.
• Establish a positive relationship with each child’s family and share information about the child’s day and activities.
• Responsible for assisting the center Director in implementing parent involvement activities.
• Maintain confidentiality Instruct children in health/personal habits such as resting, eating and toilet habits.
• Maintain daily observations about activities, meals served and medication administration.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment, sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
• Assist children with personal care.
• Meet all applicable licensing regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
