Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is looking to hire a Cashier who will handle vehicle releases, vehicle inventory, and general office work at our main office on Highway 92. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, follow instructions as set forth by management, and have cashiering and customer service experience. Essential Functions:

• Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Take incoming calls for impound release questions that relate specifically to the laws relating to towing and impoundment.
• Perform releases and cashier duties for impounded vehicles with potentially dishonest, demanding, and challenging customers.
• Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
• Process impoundment paperwork and maintain compliance with all requirements for the laws of towing and impoundment.
• Record customer information within our customer service database.
• Administrative and clerical duties.
• Other tasks as assigned.

You may be required to provide coverage if a team member is sick or on vacation. We have lots in the following areas: Clearwater, Gibsonton, Lakeland, Tampa, San Antonio, FL, and Zephyrhills.

Physical Requirements for the Position Include: Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing, significant physical strength and stamina.

Pay:

• $16 - $18

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday & 1 Saturday a month – 8:00am to 5:00pm (or 9:00am to 6:00pm)
