ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Account maintenance, invoicing, file set up and maintenance, premium finance arrangement, accounting issues internally and with the carriers.
Frequent client and carrier contact and correspondence; policy and premium agreement review; processing of all policy transactions throughout the year.
Issuance of binders, certificates of insurance, automobile ID cards, and other documents as requested.
Initiate applications/submissions (Acord or free form), request and complete loss and exposure historical summaries and other marketing documentation for marketing account execs, policy registers and summaries for clients, including stewardship review materials.
Check ratings, premium and tax calculations, audits and other premium bearing endorsements.
Essential skills include knowledge of coverage forms, rating plans; should be familiar with risk finance/deductible program mechanics and have the ability to deal with/converse with underwriters on a broad range of issues.
Must have analytical ability to assist clients in solving routine problems.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2 years in related experience in a similar position
Equivalent combination of education and experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Appropriate insurance licenses in each state where business is being solicited

Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, P&C agency automation software, Contact Management and the ability to learn and utilize industry specific software as required
