Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• Valid licensure (or eligibility for licensure) to practice as a occupational therapy assistant in the state of Florida
• Prior experience in skilled nursing settings is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with medical staff Commitment to maintaining patient and employee confidentiality
• Familiarity with Medicare and third-party reimbursement processes is desirable
