REHAB TECH RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize and monitor completion of insurance notes for managed care patients/ scans to charts
• Updates Med A book prior to dept meeting
• Issues NOMNCs for end of Medicare part B services/ scans to charts/ mails out letters/gathers documentation for appeals
• Maintains equipment inventory/ orders and tracks supplies/ Rounds the building to recover unused equipment.
• Labels and Issues wheelchairs to new admissions/ checks for safety and cleanliness
• Cleans hot pack Machine, maintains supply closets
• Keeps the gym clean and organized. Assists with cleaning equipment between patients and daily wipe- down.
• Assists therapists if needed with transfers, transportation ( currently tech is a CNA)- assists with use of therapy equipment such as standing machine, Rifton Tram
• Accompanies patients to appointments as needed
• Prepares MARS/ TARS and consultation list for weekly physiatry rounds/ accompanies physiatrist as needed.
• Assists with tech support issues / creates excel sheets/ forms as needed 

REHAB TECH QUALIFICATIONS:

• Rehab Tech Experience 
• Long Term Care Experience Required
