Step By Step Family Foot Care is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Parsippany, NJ

We are seeking a reliable Front Office Assistant who is personable and professional that will be able to provide administrative assistance to the physician. The individual will need to be punctual, proactive, organized, and able to multitask. You will be working as the front office assistant welcoming patients and putting them at at ease during their time in the office.

Job duties include:

  • Preparing exam rooms, keeping them neat and cleaned and fully stocked
  • Showing patients to exam rooms and preparing patients for the physician
  • Data entry of patient information into patients chart into the EMR
  • Uploading insurance information and various other documents into the EMR
  • Collecting co-pays/balances
  • Order supplies for office
  • Uploading x-rays
  • Opening mail
  • Corresponding with referring providers office

The ideal candidate will have medical office (podiatry preferred) experience. They will have computer knowledge and previous EMR experience. Must be able to prioritize workload while keeping the best interests of the office and patients in mind.

Our office hours are:

  • Monday 9:15 am - 7:30 pm
  • Wednesday 10 am - 3 pm
  • Thursday 9:15 am - 7:30 pm
  • Friday 9:15 am - 4:30 pm
  • 2nd and 4th Saturday 9 am - 1:30 pm

We will consider a flexible schedule within these hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
