- set up equipment and instruments, maintaining sterile technique as required; assist providers with performing, exams and procedures;
- collect, prepare and analyze specimens, including performing phlebotomy; and with proper provider authorization, provide instructions, test results;
sterilize instruments; cleans and calibrates equipment; cleans and stocks exam rooms; and provides proper documentation in electronic patient chart.
Incumbents may also provide front office services on a back-up basis.
