Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of Human Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • HR Service Desk
    • Provide L1 support in response to all HR service desk submissions
    • Provide L2 escalation support as able, else move to L3 escalation (COE specialists: benefits, payroll, learning, etc.)
  • Recruitment and Onboarding
    • Assist with full-cycle recruitment processes including job postings and scheduling interviews.
    • Perform pre-hire duties for new employees such as prepare/extend offer letters and send onboarding packets, perform and track background checks, initiate new hire process and checklist, and be primary point of contact for new hires during pre-hire through orientation.
    • Register new hires to receive compliance acknowledgements
    • Enroll new hires in OSHA training
    • Coordinate relocation activities with relocation vendors
  • Benefits Administration
    • Administer COBRA and Tuition Reimbursement programs.
    • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issue resolution.
    • Assist with benefits and wellness employee communications.
    • Handle Weekly and Monthly Benefits Billing.
  • HR Administrative Support
    • Respond to requests for employee verification
    • Process offboarding for employee terminations
    • Team building event coordination for annual engineer training group
    • Performing maintenance to the team SharePoint site (i.e. categorizing metadata, drive adoption, maintain documentation)
    • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or relevant work experience (1-2 years) in HR preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
