Our Client is seeking a .NET/C# Developer with specific experience in ArcGIS, particularly with ArcObjects/ArcFM SDK.

.NET/C# Developer with ArcGIS Expertise

Location: Hybrid in Portland, OR

Contract Length: 1 Year

Visa: Any Visa is okay

Interview: 2 rounds

Team and Work Environment:

• Current team size: 2 Developers, 1 BSA, 1 QA Lead
• Initiatives/deliverables: Upgrading from ArcGIS/ArcFM 10.6.1 to 10.8.1
• Technologies: ESRI ArcGIS, Schneider Electrics ArcFm for utilities

Key Requirements:

• C#, .NET, ASP.NET development
• ArcObjects/ArcFM custom code development
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Suites (Desktop/Enterprise), ArcSDE, ArcGIS Web App Builder, ArcPy, etc.
• Experience with ArcFM Suites (Designer, Session Manager, Process Framework, GDBM)
• Database and SQL experience (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with geostatistical analysis, geoprocessing, and geocoding tools
• Experience managing data services integration between systems
• Development experience on Windows and Linux platforms
• Knowledge in Electric Utilities is a must

A Day in the Life:

• Standup meetings
• Assigned work for 2-week sprints
• Working on upgrade-related code changes
• Handling high-priority production incidents

Interaction Level:

• Maximum interaction with the team, operating under Scrum/Agile
• Meetings with GIS Team Manager

Top Priority (First Few Weeks/Months)**:

• Helping with custom C# code (ArcObjects/ArcFM) development for the 10.8.1 upgrade project
• Concentration on testing

Biggest Challenge:

• Understanding existing code and data flows between multiple systems

Required Skills:

• Utilities experience is a must
• Top 3 Must-Haves: C#, ArcObjects/ArcFM SDK, Python

Nice-To-Haves:

• IQGEO (JavaScript, TypeScript)
• Automated testing
• ArcGIS Enterprise widget development (experience builder)

Education Requirements:

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent 5 years of experience

Experience Requirement:

5 years of experience in application development
