Position: Database Developer II
Location: Saint Louis, MO (100% Onsite)
Position Type: 12 Months, Contract to Hire

The Database Developer II role entails the creation and maintenance of SQL Server database solutions across both production and development environments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, troubleshoot, and manage stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions.
• Debug and adapt SSIS packages and SSRS reports, utilizing RS configuration manager for reporting services setup.
• Design and support XML/XLS schemas.
• Execute database and code migrations, tracking requests via internal SharePoint workflows.
• Attain a comprehensive understanding of current IT applications/technologies to align solutions with divisional goals.
• Establish and uphold IT application standards within the division.
• Undertake special projects as directed by management.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrate intermediate autonomy and proactivity in managing database projects.
• Possess intermediate-level analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Function effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of .NET and legacy applications interfacing with SQL.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server database development.
• Manage multiple MS SQL Server databases on large systems at an intermediate level.
• Intermediate ability in database monitoring and tuning.
• Proficiency in Transact-SQL and stored procedures at an intermediate level.
• Basic familiarity with entity framework and team foundation server (TFS).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in developing SQL applications for Windows and/or web platforms.
