Position Summary:

This role ensures that our insurance policies are comprehensive, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. Overseeing a range of projects, from product development to process improvement, and ensuring they are completed within scope, and budget. The Insurance Manager is a key figure in delivering strategic initiatives and driving the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing insurance project planning, execution, and completion.
• Coordinating multiple integration touchpoints.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Contributing to continuous product development.
• Allocate and coordinate project resources, including team members, third-party vendors, and budgets.
• Monitor resource availability and workload to ensure project team efficiency.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other departments, such as Finance and Legal, to ensure seamless insurance operations across the organization.
• Develop, implement, and oversee insurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation as needed.
• Monitor and analyze insurance trends, risks, and claims to identify areas for improvement and adjust policies accordingly.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on insurance activities, including policy updates, cost analysis, and risk assessments.
• Monitor financial metrics to optimize project profitability.
• Work with business units to ensure smooth integration of project outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Extensive project management experience, preferably within the Property and Casualty insurance industry. Thorough understanding of P&C insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements. Strong project management software and tool proficiency. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex projects. Adaptability to a dynamic insurance market and regulatory landscape. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with claims processing software and data analysis tools. A commitment to providing excellent customer service. Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field. Three (3) years of leadership experience in captive finance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP or similar certification is a plus. Knowledge of legal aspects related to insurance claims is a plus.

Travel

• This position may require up to 40% travel.
