Status: PRN/Flex

The essential function of this position is to provide nursing care to residents of Stella Maris in the Inpatient Hospice Unit.

DUTIES:

• Participates in assessment of patients and assists in the coordination, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families.
• Provides supervision and coaching to nursing assistants
• Responsible for accurate documentation of medical records according to established guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• RN licensure in the State of Maryland required
• Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Prior experience in LTC strongly preferred
