Job Summary

Position is responsible for performing non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinating cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity, which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.

Entry level professional position. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Builds collaborative working relationships internally and externally. Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintaining all project information including schedules, data, assignments, tasks, and project meetings.
  • Partnering with the project team to understand and assist with tracking all work, tasks, and project assignments.
  • Working with the Project Manager in developing a comprehensive workflow process for the project.
  • Monitoring and modifying project schedules as assigned.
  • Maintaining document control, database management, project activities, and team communication. Assisting the project team and manager in strategic meetings, following up with meeting notes. 
  • Scheduling project follow up meetings, as needed.
  • Developing and publishing communications to project shareholders.
  • Developing and reviewing project status and reports.

Qualifications & Job Skills

Bachelor"s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Less than 2 years of related experience.

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role and/or projects-related role.
  • Experience or familiarity with project management software.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience in creating agendas, minutes, correspondence, documentation, and presentations.
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Flexibility during times of change.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in conducting research on project-related issues and products.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Compliance with attendance and schedule adherence. 
  • Knowledge and application of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the specialized field. 
  • May develop advanced skills using tools and equipment appropriate for the position or specialization.
  • Ability to use established procedures and working under immediate supervision to perform assigned tasks.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform routine assignments. 
  • Ability to resolve routine questions and problems, as well as refer more complex issues to higher levels.
