Job Description

Job Purpose: Provide detailed product expertise in specific small kitchen appliance products to the Category Manager, ensuring Gourmia remains at the forefront of the industry. Maintain an extensive database of global competitive products, offering insights on product niches and market opportunities to guide R&D efforts.

Job Duties:

· Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of competitive products from global retailers and suppliers, ensuring intricate details of every product are captured.

· Analyze the technical aspects of competitor products, including detailed BOM components and manufacturing costs.

· Provide the Category Manager with insights and recommendations based on the analysis of market data and product details.

· Identify product niches and market voids, steering the R&D department towards new item development and necessary adjustments to existing products.

· Collaborate with the R&D team to provide product specifications and market trends.

· Monitor and report on competitor product launches, updates, and discontinuations.

· Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer feedback and preferences.

Qualifications

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in small kitchen appliances.

· Proven track record in product analysis and competitive market research.

Knowledge and Skills:

· In-depth knowledge of small kitchen appliance market trends and products.

· Proficient in database management and market analysis tools.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

· Detail-oriented with the ability to dissect complex product specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working with international suppliers and retailers.

· Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Working Conditions:

· Office-based role with occasional visits to trade shows, suppliers, and retailers.

· May require occasional travel, both domestic and international, to meet with suppliers, attend industry events, or conduct market research

Additional Information

The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000
