Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at Steel Valley Brew Works . As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating delicious cocktails for our guests. This is a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time management, sales skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with catering events as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Bartender in a restaurant or similar setting
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent sales skills to upsell and promote menu items
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in your location)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
