RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PAYROLL AND ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:

• Track Time and Attendance for hourly personnel.
• Process hourly payroll.
• Track vacation accruals for hourly employees.
• post transactions to the general ledger on a daily, weekly basis.
• Reconcile various general ledger accounts to supporting documents or sub-ledgers.
• Review daily production transactions and research transactions for potential errors.
• Assist Director of Finance in preparing reports for the bank and auditors.
• On an annual basis, assist with yearly financial review by audit firm

Competencies:

• Two to three years of experience in payroll and accounting.
• Associate degree in accounting preferred.
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
