Steel Point Solutions is offering a unique opportunity to work a hybrid remote schedule and learn the growing and evolving technologies supporting robotics process automation (RPA). The Senior Software Engineer position leads a small team of developers supporting a variety of business systems incorporating RPA software bots to perform routine processes. Software bots provide benefits to the workplace by saving time and effort, giving employees more time to work on meaningful tasks, ensuring compliance, and improving the customer experience. Our customer has invested significant resources in these technologies and Steel Point Solutions offers the opportunity to work for the Prime contractor on the ground floor of this important and expanding market.

No prior RPA experience is necessary. All you need is object oriented development experience and a willingness to learn the latest in RPA technologies

We are looking for a Software Developer with a Full Scope Poly to perform the following:

• Lead the education, assessment, improvement, maturity, and sustainment Organization Framework;
• Serve as resident advisor to the organization and project team on any and all Technology related matter;
• Support the assessment of the organization's IT Architecture;
• Support the evaluation, organization, optimization of the organization's IT Portfolio of IT Investments to be aligned with organizations requirements;
• Conduct compliance assessments and develop actionable recommendations for continued maturity;
• Guide and support the organization in the implementation of standards and validated best practices to establish transparency into cost, quality, and value of IT investments across the organization;
• Assist in training and documenting its current data collection and aggregation methods, business processes, and models;
• Assist in leveraging the accumulated and mapped out data to advise how IT spend supports desired objectives;
• Develop and deliver executive briefings on technology adoption to senior level stakeholders; Coach, mentor, and train stakeholders and project team members on framework, best practices, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in IT Governance, IT Portfolio Organization and Optimization, IT Strategic Planning and IT Roadmap Development, Experience supporting enterprise wide modernization
