Using Evidence Based treatment, we help our clients learn the techniques needed to work through their trauma while simultaneously addressing substance abuse disorders.
Position Summary
This part-time position supports our accounting team by assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and other accounting functions. This position reports onsite to our offices in San Pedro.
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to work up to 20 hours per week. The schedule for this position is 12:00pm to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position is $23.50 - $25.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for paid sick leave and a retirement plan.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and enter journal entries into accounting software.
- Generating invoices for mailing.
- Reconcile monthly ledgers and bank statements.
- Complete administrative tasks such as scanning, filing and shredding.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organization skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Some familiarity with Excel.
- High level of integrity and the ability to keep information confidential.
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
