Position

As a leader in the Drug Discovery group, you will be a crucial member of our interdisciplinary team, comprising highly creative and talented individuals with exceptional expertise in biologics discovery. This group is responsible for validating targets and establishing discovery projects to populate a clinical meaningful and differentiated therapeutics pipeline. You will work collaboratively with functional genomics, proteomics, protein design and engineering, and computational scientists.

About You

You are an established scientific leader with deep knowledge of immunogenicity of biologic drugs, with proven experience in preclinical and clinical evaluation and risk mitigation. You enjoy mentoring and teaching junior members of the team. Your passion lies in drug discovery and developing novel treatments for patients. You are conscientious, detail-oriented, organized, and dedicated to reproducible science and optimizing lab workflows. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where pushing the boundaries of what is possible is the norm.

Qualifications

• PhD and postdoctoral work in Immunology or related field.
• 10 years of experience in biologics drug discovery with proven contribution to preclinical evaluation of immunogenicity.
• Hands on knowledge of ADA assays and clinical assessment of immunogenicity.
• Experience leading a group of 3-5 scientists in establishing relevant preclinical and clinical assays.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex scientific concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with researchers from diverse fields, including computational and experimental biologists, and provide scientific guidance, support, and leadership as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior research associates.
