RN – Emergency Room – Full Time, Part Time Benefit Eligible (12 hour shifts)

What to expect as an ER RN:

  • Deliver quality nursing care to patients requiring treatment in accordance with age-related and individual needs, physician orders, hospital policy, and standard nursing practice.
  • Assess the needs of patients and family, communicating directly with physicians and other staff, planning nursing care to meet patient needs, and ensuring that the plan of care is carried out, evaluated, and documented according to the principles defined in the nursing process.
  • Be proficient with clinical skills and assessments, critical thinking skills, and time management.
  • Multi-task in a fast pace environment.

Qualifications:

  • Current Missouri RN license.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
  • TNCC and NRP encouraged.
  • Two years ED Staff Nurse experience in adult and pediatric care desired.
  • Previous EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience required.
