Duties and Responsibilities (essential duties are italicized)1. Blending solution – 60% of the time
− Pulls preps and reviews material for solutions prior to starting a work order.
− Operate heavy and automated machinery.
− Reports, issues, and receives material in EPICOR.
− Review and filling out the necessary paperwork for the job, using the “good documentation practice.”
− Completes required inventory transactions for receiving materials and transferring finished goods with each
receipt and transfer, with no more than 1 error per month.
− Reviews the production schedule, pulls materials for next job and stages for the line in the Paraffin room.
− Relocates unused materials, waste, and recyclable materials from the department to their appropriate
storage areas throughout the shift such that none are left by shift end.
− Fills in for Production Operators, as needed.
− Willing and capable of following the 5’s Rule.
2. Performs basic troubleshooting on machine, resolving basic problems.
3. Escalates machine problems to the Maintenance Technician and or Supervisor as required.
4. Completes electronic timecard daily with no more than 1 error per month.
5. Attends all scheduled meetings, missing no more than 10% annually.
6. Provides excellent customer service.
7. Actively always demonstrates teamwork.
8. Follows all OSHA and Company safety guidelines, including use of PPE. Must be able to certify with a respirator, faces must be clean shaven in areas involving respirator seal. 
9. Always adheres to company safety standards, such that no serious (requiring medical attention) injury occurred
during the prior 12-month period.
10. Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.
11. Performs all other duties as required.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
1. Basic computer usage knowledge.
2. Skilled with a pallet jack.
3. Ability to learn label printing software.
4. Basic understanding of English to read work orders and write information.
5. Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using all units of measure,
whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
6. Ability to visually inspect required coding, product labeling, and finished goods to match products with
the appropriate packaging.
7. Ability to develop thorough understanding of operational procedures to practice safe manufacturing.
8. Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: sitting, bending,
pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, and walking for extended periods of time on a concrete floor, and
frequently lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 50 pounds.
9. Position spends approximately 95% of time standing at a production machine and 5% walking or
moving about the production area.
10. Vision must be within or correctable to within normal range.
11. Must work from the McKinney office and be able to work on time on a regular basis during scheduled

This position is hourly and will work second shift. Second shift is paid a .75/hour shift differential for work during second shift hours. This position starts at the hourly rate of $16.64 without the shift differential. 

This position is also eligible for an annual merit increase.
