Statewide Mortgage is Hiring a Loan Processor Near Louisville, KY

If you enjoy working with a dynamic, positive and highly productive team, then this is the job for you.

You will be required to accurately manage loan documentation through established systems and review it to ensure completion and compliance with current regulations and policies. These skills can be taught, and our main focus is to hire an individual with the right attitude. In the past, those with very strong “yes” type attitudes have been successful as a Mortgage Loan Processor.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills combined with a results-driven approach
  • Ability to solve problems

Responsibilities:

  • Collect all required documentation for the loan package
  • Create a loan submission package for the Underwriting department
  • Submit files to assigned Underwriter
  • Satisfy all conditions when received from Underwriter
  • Ensure that approval falls within the established lending guidelines
  • Communicate with other professionals, including attorneys, county clerks and title companies
  • Conduct a final review of the file before closing

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Previous experience in banking/mortgage industry is a plus
