State University of New York at Fredonia seeks applications for a part-time (50%) EAP Coordinator (Employee Assistance Program). The EAP Coordinator is part of the Human Resources team. Measures will be taken to ensure appropriate levels of employee confidentiality.
The Employee Assistance Program is a joint labor/management program open to all employees. The EAP Coordinator's primary responsibility is to provide confidential information, assessments, and referrals to NYS employees and their family members who are experiencing personal or work-related problems. The coordinator will coordinate and may create employee health and wellness programming, working in coordination with the EAP committee. The Statewide EAP Program will train and support the Coordinator so that the Coordinator can effectively perform the responsibilities of the position.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Experience creating and designing programs and related material, including presentations, announcements, flyers, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
Experience presenting information.
Familiarity with and ability to identify appropriate community resources.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the area of Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
Experience with an employee assistance program.
Knowledge about state health insurance benefits and other negotiated benefits for the employees being served.
Experience creating and designing employee health and wellness-related programming.
Hours of work 16-20 hours per week (*benefits eligibility is contingent upon FTE of 50%).
Salary is based on hours/experience ranging from $28,000-32,000.
Limited remote work may be available, but position is primarily based on-site on the SUNY Fredonia campus due to the nature of EAP.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time, term appointed, position beginning April 2023 (start date flexible).
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
