Parks/Pipestem Resort State Park/Summers County Directs and organizes the activities of the Food and Beverage Department at Pipestem Resort State Park to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Plans and directs the functions of administration in the department to meet the daily needs of operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. Ensures high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits and to ensure an outstanding experience. Develops recipes and menus for restaurants serving three meals per day, and for banquets. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, mentors, schedules, and evaluates staff. Must have the ability to lead and manage skilled and unskilled staff of individuals; ensure a strong, consistent, culture; and build a level of trust for independent decision making. Performs related duties as assigned. Regular attendance is required.

Training: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

OR

Substitution: Additional experience below may be substituted at the rate of one (1) year for every thirty (30) semester hours of training.

AND

Experience: Five (5) years of professional, managerial, and/or supervisory experience.
