State of Washington Olympic Area Agency on Aging is Hiring a Human Resource Specialist Near Port Townsend, WA

Description
REPORTS TO: Administrative Director
SALARY: Starts at $24.55 per hour if at Step 1, full benefits, PERS of WA Pension Plan
WORK HOURS: 30-40 hours per week (depending on candidate), Non-Exempt
OFFICE LOCATION: Port Townsend Administrative Office
Duties

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides confidential human resource administration for the agency including recruitment, personnel documentation, onboarding of new hires, benefits enrollment and providing routine HR support to employees on use of benefits, leave, etc. Please see job description at www.o3a.org/Employment for full details.

Qualifications
Requires BA or higher, preferably in administration, personnel management, or related filed. Minimum 2 years experience with direct human resource functions.
Well-developed social skills and ability to work well in a team-based environment. Ability to work well in a fast paced office environment. Ability to observe strict information confidentiality as a condition of employment.
Must have reliable personal transportation, vehicle insurance, and a WA driver’s license.
