Description

As the Office Support Supervisor, you will report to the Forms & Records Analyst Supervisor of the Imaging unit within the Administrative Services Division, serving as a subject matter expert in the imaging and indexing operations of the agency. You will be providing direct supervision of one of the 3 Imaging teams. As a direct supervisor of this team, you will be responsible for advancing ESD’s strategic plan by actively identifying and working to dismantle barriers to equity, diversity, and inclusion for traditionally marginalized underserved groups. Furthermore, this position is responsible for modeling this commitment and positively influencing others to do so as well. Duties

In this role and on a typical day you can expect to plan and supervise day-to-day work of an individual team, set performance expectations and achieve standards. You will review the work of staff, make suggestions to assignments and schedules to ensure adequate response to fluctuating workloads and evaluate employee performance and prepare performance appraisals.

Some of the work you will be relied upon for:

  • Determining training needs of staff in the use of all electronic applications and workflows.
  • Identifying training needs of individual staff members and assisting them in meeting their training needs.
  • Developing in-house training including training materials.
  • Reviewing applicants’ credentials, conduct interviews, and hire or effectively recommend hiring staff.
  • Proficient at using the agency’s electronic data storage software.
  • Understanding the application and workflows.
  • Proficient with the use of UTAB, ILINX and NGTS systems within ESD to accurately enter data into the current document storage system.

Qualifications

Required:
Must be able to pass an Unemployment Insurance (UI) Claim and Benefit Information Review.
Ability to type 40 WPM and 10-key at 8,000 Keystrokes Per Hour (KPH).
AND A High School Diploma or Equivalent and One (1) year of clerical experience.
ORA combination of education and/or relevant experience.
