DSHS ALTSA Nursing Facility Social Services Supervisor
We're seeking to hire a Social Service Specialist 5 to join our team in Everett, WA. In this position, you will independently supervise a unit of Nursing Facility Case Management Social Service Specialists. As the supervisor, you will also make hiring decisions, provide direction and consultation to staff, identify any training needs, monitor and evaluate performance, conduct meetings, and improve access and service delivery to clients.
Home and Community Services is a division of our Aging and Long Term Support Administration (ALTSA) that promotes, plans, and develops long-term care services for people over age 18 with disabilities and our elderly population. Those we serve includes a population of high risk, elderly/frail, vulnerable persons who might have complex barriers requiring additional case support, resources, and creativity to help our clients reach their community living goals.

Professionals with either:
Four years as a Social Service Specialist 2A two-year master's degree in the indicated fields that included a practicum may substitute for one year of paid social service experience.
