Forms and Records Analyst 3

Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) Office of Forensic Mental Health Services (OFMHS) seeks a Forms and Records Analyst 3. This role reports directly to the Forms and Records Analyst 3 Supervisor located in Steilacoom, WA.

The Forms and Records Analyst 3 role will assist and coordinate records retention, migration, transfer, and disposition, utilize manual, electronic, and/or automated systems, and provide consultation on forms and/or records-management programs and systems requirements.

Some of what you'll do:

  • Identify and follow internal procedures and policy to reduce risk to OFMHS regarding potential legal consequences
  • Maintain MODIS records, the input of records into appropriate records systems
  • Manage manual and/or electronic records retention, disposition, transfer, and storage systems of documents produced by OFMHS
  • Obtain requested external medical records from many different organizations including hospitals, jails, schools, etc
What we're looking for:
  • Strong organization and administrative skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, find information quickly, and return to critical tasks in the midst of multiple interruptions
  • Ability to independently manage time and tasks
  • Ability to navigate various administrations
  • Advanced experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet applications including familiarity with SharePoint
Who should apply?

High school diploma or GED; and two or more years providing professional-level administrative support to a senior-level manager, including experience communicating to diverse audiences.

OR

Three or more years of progressively responsible, recent experience providing professional-level administrative support to a senior-level manager and supporting others in getting their work done.

OR

Formal education will substitute for year-for-year experience.
