State of South Carolina is Hiring a Health Science Department Chair Near Lexington, SC

The instructor serving as Health Science Department Chair is responsible for instructional management, personnel supervision and evaluation, program and curriculum development and assessment, and accurate reports for the courses and programs within the department. The department chair is also responsible to provide instruction and guidance to students who are enrolled in courses in Health Sciences.
 
The Chair is responsible for departmental leadership and management (40%), supervision (20%), instruction (15%), instructional development and management (10%), student advisement (10%), and professional development & college/ community services (5%).
 
Midlands Technical College is dedicated to providing excellent service to its students, employees, and the community. Department Chairs/ Heads will meet, at a minimum, the faculty requirements as listed below and will have three (3) years of progressively responsible related work experience. Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to a baccalaureate degree, doctor’s or master’s degree in the teaching discipline or mater’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
