Job Responsibilities
Provides skilled planned and corrective cross-functional maintenance and repair services including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing for designated facilities on the Columbia campus of the University of South Carolina.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
High school diploma and 4 years experience in a commercial or residential trades occupation including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing with knowledge of national and local code requirements for trades area.
Drivers license required.

Demonstrated ability to use a computer. Ability to develop and maintain strong customer service skills, maintain harmonious working relationship with departmental staff, work independently, maintain functional awareness of typical hazards with in the work place, work within established resources, communicate both orally and in writing, maintain accurate records relating to time, materials and services provided, organize, plan and prioritize work.
