Job Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Services, the Assistant Registrar coordinates, assists, and assesses admissions, registration, advising, and student records functions for all credit and non-credit programs to support the achievement of the College's enrollment goals and create a high-quality student experience. The Assistant Registrar maintains processes to foster student access to programs, maintains the accuracy, integrity, and security of student records, and ensures excellent services for students, faculty, and staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assists the Director of Enrollment Services with daily operations in providing comprehensive services to support the student admissions, advising, and registration processes, preparing and maintaining student academic records in conformance with College policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations related to the privacy of student records. Serves as a secondary Designated School Official for international student processing.
- Coordinates the Enrollment Services Center front-counter operations and services and phone and email communications. Assists the Director in providing regular training and guidance to ensure a high-quality student experience and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Coordinates all functional aspects of registration, including, but not limited to, establishment and communication of registration dates, registration of special populations, system updates, and add/drop processes. Coordinates all processes regarding student records and ensures that record information is accurate and transmitted by established deadlines.
- Processes updates to the student information system to ensure the accuracy of academic program information and advisor assignments. Assists with performing degree audit processes, determining graduation eligibility, and processing credentials. Serves as a division representative for enhancements and implementation of enrollment technology and collaborates with the Office of Information Technology to improve user interaction with technology systems.
- Provides professional customer service to students and works with students to mitigate issues and concerns. Serves on College committees and participates in College activities. Develops and delivers presentations as needed for faculty, staff, and prospective and current students. Performs other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the Enrollment Services Center and the College.
Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of related work experience in an educational setting preferred.
