The House Fiscal Advisory Staff is seeking a qualified individual to provide staff assistance to the Rhode Island House of Representatives and the House Finance Committee beginning in July. Individual should possess strong problem solving and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office program and preferably have a working knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration and state government. Must possess excellent oral communication skills, superior writing and editing skills, and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well on a team.Position requires availability for often unpredictable work schedule, particularly during the legislative session. Must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines while remaining attentive to detail.

A graduate degree, preferably in public administration, economics, political science, or business administration by June 30th.
