We provide statewide leadershipof highly valued mental health & addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery at OhioMHAS!
We are looking for team members who will serve compassionately, contribute & collaborate, deliver quality and be accountable.

What We Do:

OhioMHAS operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system.

What You'll Do:

  • Assists Chief Nursing Officer/Nursing Leadership in administrative functions necessary to operations of Nursing Department: acts as a liaison between Nursing Dept & other departments within organization
  • Develops agendas, records minutes for Nursing Department meetings
  • Facilitates reviews/revisions & implementation of Nursing policies & procedures
  • Represents Nursing Department at meetings
  • Assists in ongoing preparation for The Joint Commission (TJC) surveys; assists in preparation for Medicaid certification
  • Coordinates & maintains Quality Assurance (QA) files for all Nursing Leadership; develops schedules & worksheets for data collection for QA activities
  • Assures smooth functioning, screening of Nurse Executive telephone calls & mail; assists in completion of correspondence, reports, memos, minutes of meetings

Qualifications

Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career
school or community college; 12 mos. exp. in secretarial/administrative professional field.

  • Or 12 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 2, 16872.
