Vendor Services Coordinator UDAT Team
Salary: $2,070.21 Semi-Monthly/$49,684.96 Annually

*Typical working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.*

This position can be domiciled at any location throughout the State of MO. Eligible for remote and hybrid options after two performance meetings with supervisor.

Role Description

A member of the Universal Design and Assistive Technology (UDAT) Team, responsible for provider development to enhance the capacity for the provision of supports and services. Provides consultation, review of requests for services and technical assistance to providers and support coordinators on Assistive Technology, Environmental Accessibility Adaptations, and Specialized Medical Equipment and monitors to ensure the quality of service delivery to individuals and compliance with Medicaid Waiver service definitions and requirements.

Typical Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

Valid MO Driver’s License

What you’ll do

  • Become certified in the SHIFT curriculum for assistive technology!
  • Provides technical assistance to stake holders regarding service delivery and requirements including but not limited to contract language, Medicaid Waiver service definitions including standards for service delivery, record keeping, and policy and procedure.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of regulations pertaining to DMH contract providers which include, but are not limited to: Medicaid Waiver, DOR's, CSR's, Division Directives, etc.
  • Provide state-wide on-site consultation when required.
  • Review and understand the contractual process (provider enrollment, contract renewals, contract amendments, contract terminations, etc.).
  • Performs Provider Relations Reviews to audit specific provider requirements.
  • Completes required entry of findings from Provider Relations Reviews and the Missouri Medicaid Audit and Compliance Audit Unit into the Integrated Quality Management Functions Database.
  • Follows up on action items identified through Provider Relations Reviews, Missouri Medicaid and Audit Compliance Unit audits, Corrective Action Plans and service coordinator referrals to ensure desired changes are affected, objectives achieved and program changes are maintained.
  • Assists with provider recruitment and assists with the design of service delivery systems.
  • Maintains required information trackers regarding duties within established timelines.
  • Identifies provider issues through consultation with professional and support staff, observing staff performance, monitoring program implementation, reviewing records, reports and utilization/financial data.
  • Coordinates and/or assists in activities regarding the development and implementation of corrective action plans and timeframes for correcting deficiencies involving program and contract requirements, standards, policies and procedures for each assigned provider.
  • Participates in regional all staff meetings, team meetings, quarterly provider meetings, and monthly statewide provider relations meetings.
  • Manages provider staff CIMOR (Information Management System) access and removal.
  • Maintains and updates provider contact information in Information Management System.
