Treatment Manager for SCHC

Salary: $2,947.30 semi-monthly/$70,735.20 annually

St. Louis Developmental Disabilities Treatment Centers has an opening for a Treatment Manager to serve as Unit Manager at the South County Habilitation Center (SCHC), located at 2312 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. Working hours are primarily 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m., with Sunday/Saturdays and holidays off; however, this position will need to work a flexible schedule as needed. This position requires conducting announced and unannounced rounds on all three shifts and requires mandatory 24/7 on-call status.

What you’ll do: This is a managerial position that is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the South County facility which includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Plans, directs, analyzes and coordinates Mental Health programs and/or services.
  • Monitors consumer incidents and develops systematic or local interventions to reduce similar or frequency of incidents.
  • Reviews and/or revises programs in area of responsibility to ensure compliance of operations with laws, regulations, policies, accreditation, and certification standards.
  • Supervises a team of professional staff and evaluates employee performance.
  • Review effective and practical individual habilitation plans and related program procedures.
  • Initiate recommendations for disciplinary action and plans of actions. Responsible for ensuring appropriate follow-up is completed.
  • Consistently assess the organizational structure to utilize all available resources to achieve program implementation for each consumer served.
  • Ensures that the respective unit provides 24 hour responsibility for consumers served which is safe and sanitary in nature through completion of staff utilization, rounds and reports.
  • Ensures that day to day operations of the Treatment manager’s offices and other areas of responsibility occur as scheduled. Ensure staff within areas of responsibility receive and complete in-service training as required and on an as needed basis.
  • Exercises considerable initiative and judgment in planning and carrying out assignments; receives general administrative direction; work is reviewed through conferences, reports, and evaluation of operational results.
  • Maintains basic knowledge of CMS regulations for Intermediate Care Facilities that support individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Provides on-call support.

Eligibility Requirements: You will need 5 or more years of relevant experience, and 1-2 years of supervising experience.

Current DMH employees will not be eligible to apply if they have a disciplinary action within the last 12 months.
