This position is located in the Financial Services unit in the Division of Regulation and Licensure. It is an exciting opportunity to become an essential member of a small yet energetic unit that is responsible for all fiscal aspects of the division. You will also be working with cross-departmental teams on a variety of fiscal priorities, financial policy development, and grant/fiscal monitoring and tracking.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with the submissions of grant applications and all related performance reports to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
• Development, maintenance, and preparation of applications and management of expenditure and tracking reports for Division contracts and grants.
• Assist with state and federal fiscal year budget setups in SAM II.
• Prepare financial projections, fund reconciliations and assist with developing recommendations to programs and management; respond to state auditor requests and other requests from division and department management.
• Serve as a liaison with Division's programs for contract related inquires, applications, and prepare and/or review all required financial reports.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

• Critical thinking, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, along with a high level of commitment, and ability to meet deadlines; Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of relevant experience (substitutions allowed)
• Previous experience with SAM II financial and Mo Buys is preferred
• Previous experience with Federal Grants and contracts is preferred
• Previous experience with Excel, Word, Access, and Adobe is required
