Job Location: This position will be located at 920 wildwood Dr. Jefferson City, MO 65109, but will be eligible for remote work with travel across the state of Missouri.

Why you’ll love this position:

This position regulates and licenses acute care hospitals in the State of Missouri. You are active in investigations and surveys to assure hospitals are meeting the Federal and State minimum care regulations. In this position you are confirming that Missouri citizens have safe and effective health care in Missouri Hospitals.

What you’ll do:

• Travels to hospitals state wide to conduct surveys and prepare reports of non-compliance.
• Prepare reports, individually and in cooperation with other team members, on programs surveyed as a team in regard to compliance with state licensing and federal certification requirements.
• Present evidence or participates in hearings regarding health facilities which do not meet standards.
• Participates in the orientation of new employees and continuing education programs.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings.
• Exercises significant independence and initiative in the performance of responsibilities; receives general administration direction and performs other related work as assigned.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse License
• BSN degree, MSN degree preferred
• Acute care nursing experience
