Salary: $2070.21 semi-monthly ($49,685.04 annually)

Job Location: This full time position is located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137 working in the Quality Improvement Department. Your normal work schedule will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturday/Sunday/Holidays off. However, you will need to be flexible. This position reports directly to the Quality Improvement Manager.

What you’ll do: This is a professional position responsible for maintaining quality standards at BHC. You will coordinate inquiries and investigations, report evaluation and assessment findings, monitor progress and prepare corrective action recommendations to management for approval.

All you need for success as a Quality Improvement Specialist:

  • Master’s degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the field of developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of accreditation and certification standards and their application to state facilities.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate findings verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • A cooperative spirit and possess superior communication skills with staff and consumers.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, writing skills, are self-motivated and team-oriented.

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one of the following: psychology, social work, nursing, education, occupational therapy, or a closely related field and 3 or more years of relevant experience.

Current DMH employees will not be eligible to apply if they have a disciplinary action within the last 6 months.
