As a Project Manager, the core responsibilities of this position include the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned projects. Projects will cover a diverse range of technologies and objectives, such as system enhancements, new development, and software upgrades.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Higher Education.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as an IT Project Manager on small-to-large projects.
• Continually collaborate with project stakeholders and team members.
• Write and/or assist with writing RFP's and PAQ's.
• Provide governance over financials related to projects, including approvals for all project deliverables and invoices.
• Responsible for traditional Project Management activities, included but not limited to: create Project Plans, define scope, estimate costs, oversight of project budget, accurate and timely status reporting, mitigate project issues through change requests.

• The office for this position will be located at the Jefferson State Office Building, 205 Jefferson Street, 3rd Floor, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
• Candidates who complete a successful onboarding and training period may be eligible to work at an alternate location in compliance with OA-ITSD's Distributed Workforce Plan.
