Job Location: This position is located at the Howerton State Office Building; 615 Howerton Court, Jefferson City, MO.
The Department of Social Services partners with families and communities to protect children, rehabilitate youth and move families to self-sufficiency so that Missourians can lead safe, healthy and productive lives.

This is a an independent position, responsible for implementing program changes and quality initiatives related to behavioral health services and integration of behavioral and physical health services in both fee-for-service and managed care delivery systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience in a behavioral health related field. (Experience can be substituted for the required education)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Medicaid policy and operations is preferred. Strong critical thinking skills are essential. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of healthcare systems is necessary. Knowledge of best practices, emerging trends, and innovations in healthcare as well as behavioral health services is preferred. Knowledge of behavioral health and physical health integration is preferred. The ability to effectively facilitate meetings with community and state partners. Experience with data review and analysis is preferred. Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs is preferred.
