Join the mission-driven team in Environmental Health as the Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Lead Hazard Control Grant program. Coordinate and collaborate with the City of Rochester and other partners to improve health equity and ensure healthy housing by reducing lead hazards in the community. Establish effective working relationships with state-wide and local partners to secure stakeholder involvement and commitment to the program. Candidates must be able to travel throughout Southeastern Minnesota and attend required trainings out of state. Reimbursement for authorized business travel expenses is provided according to bargaining unit guidelines. This position will have the option of some teleworking; however, it will be based on the business needs of the unit and is at supervisory discretion.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
This position is based in St. Paul and eligible for telework as a schedule option. Specific schedule will be based on business needs and is subject to supervisor discretion.
An Associate's degree may be substituted for six (6) months of experience. A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for one (1) year of experience. A Master's degree may be substituted for one and a half (1.5) years of experience. To facilitate proper years of service crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
Three (3) years of experience in administering a federal grant program, lead poisoning prevention, housing rehabilitation, weatherization, healthy housing, affordable housing, or related program including experiences in the following areas:
