This includes establishing and maintaining child and medical support orders, as well as processing support payments. We also offer programs to increase and enhance the involvement of parents with their children. We assist with resources for employment to help payors find work and partner with several entities to facilitate parenting programs.
Fort Dodge Child Support is seeking a Clerk Specialist who shares a passion for serving and supporting families through the life of their child support case. We are looking for someone who is respectful, positive, and a quick learner. This position performs a variety of support tasks and requires an individual that can be tactful and compassionate under stressful situations. The Clerk Specialist may assist with establishment and specialized case management tasks, location efforts through the internet and various automated systems, and must be able to communicate effectively with community partners such as human service agencies, attorneys, clerks of court, county sheriffs, employers, corrections, and other entities to achieve the goals of the Child Support Program.
The Fort Dodge Child Support office is located in downtown Fort Dodge. With convenient access to the hospital, medical providers, banks, library, and other services, Fort Dodge offers big city amenities in an intimate small-town atmosphere. Fort Dodge has great public and private schools, as well as two colleges. Fort Dodge offers many family-friendly attractions and outdoor adventures.
