The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Regional Administrator for Central Region Permanency. This position will plan and coordinate service delivery with the Deputy Director and other Executive offices of the Department and will serve as principal policy formulating administrator for the region. The position also plans, develops, and manages regional child welfare services and reviews and monitors program activities. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about children and interested in being a leader in the administration of child welfare services. 1. Requires an MSW or master’s degree in a related human services field, in business administration, or a juris doctorate.
2. Requires four years of supervisory and management experience in human services with an MSW or five years of supervisory and management experience in human services with a master’s degree in a related human services field, in business administration, or a juris doctorate.
1. Six years of experience supervising professional staff.
2. Four years of professional experience in the oversight of a large program with multiple sites or multiple teams of subordinate professional staff
3. Six years of experience managing or conducting child welfare services.
4. Professional experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
5. Professional experience conducting planning activities for a social work program on a regional or statewide basis in a management capacity.
6. Professional experience conducting community outreach as a representative of a public or business organization.
