Experience: Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.
- Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS, ARDMS
- Patient Types: Inpatient/Outpatient – General, Vascular, OB/GYN
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Required Certifications: BLS, RDMS
Skills required:
- The above patient types, GE equipment experience (preferred), Epic experience is a must
- Support on the Unit: Supervisor
Charting System/Equipment: EPIC
Weekend rotation: Every other
Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac sonography procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart conditions.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality images are produced for accurate interpretation by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care and accurate test results.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Document findings accurately in patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiac sonography techniques and equipment to provide the best possible care for patients.
- Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines in all aspects of job performance.
