Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position works in conjunction with the Training and Research Consultant and Government Operations Consultant II on administrative training and policy and procedures reviews and updates. The incumbent reports to the Finance and Accounting Director III for Strategic Process Management (SPM) and works to assist the division in achieving its primary aim of effective management and accountability of agency financial, physical, and human resources.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be proficient of instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, learning theory, group/individual teaching techniques, design of individual development plans, and test design principles.
  • Ability to implement different learning strategies using multiple approaches when learning or teaching new things.
  • Ability to effectively convey information verbally and in writing.
  • Have familiarity of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution. This may include strategic planning, resource allocation, manpower modeling, leadership techniques, and production methods.
  • Have experience in administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks, actively listen, and manage time wisely.
  • Skilled with structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the use of database software.

Qualifications:

Minimum - Five years of professional or technical experience analyzing, developing, evaluating, and delivering instructional training programs. 

Preferred - Experience developing training material in Articulate360. Familiarity with State of Florida financial systems: FLAIR, STMS, MFMP.
