JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Government Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration Program, Refunds and Revenue Accounting Process. The incumbent independently reconciles sales tax distribution reports to state accounts and provides input to improve processing capabilities and operational procedures. The incumbent also conducts analysis and makes recommendations providing direction to management to promote the most efficient and effective accomplishment of the operating objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

• Seven years of professional accounting or auditing experience.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting or area of business can substitute on a year for year basis for the required accounting experience.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $5,842.26 monthly/$70,107.12 annually.
